Exceptional, beautiful and functional.
The vision for this project began through a series of in-depth discussions between our design team and PI Group, an independent interior consultancy. Our clients sought something exceptional: furniture that would meet their functional requirements and align seamlessly with their brand identity. At Alexander Rose, we thrive on collaborating with clients to produce beautiful bespoke pieces that perfectly reflect a company's values and vision.
Working with design consultants and architectural plans
This exciting project, located within the heart of Birmingham's new business area, allowed us to achieve precisely that. Throughout the process, our in-house designers worked closely with our account manager, who had initial consultations with the design consultants at PI Group. Together, we worked to bring the concept to life, starting with team calls and reviewing the architectural plans provided by the client. These plans outlined the space we were designing for, setting the foundation for the project.
Our design team’s visualisations and material selection
Our design team then took over, working diligently to refine the plans and layouts. Utilising 3D visualisations and detailed sketches, we created a cohesive design that fully met the client's needs. Attention to detail played a crucial role at every step of the process. For example, when designing the cushions, we initially produced a sample with one fabric, but after further discussion, we opted for a different fabric with a PE backing film. This innovation had several benefits. The waterproof backing ensured that the cushions remained dry, preventing water from soaking into the foam, while also improving the durability and quality of the stitching. We minimised fraying by selecting a fabric with this waterproof backing, allowing for a higher-quality, longer-lasting product.
Meticulous details
Every detail, no matter how large or small, was meticulously considered and executed with precision. Once all parties involved had agreed on the design specifications, the final drawings were completed and confirmed, marking the successful completion of this bespoke furniture project.
