As part of their ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality of care, Barchester Healthcare required outdoor furniture that would meet the diverse needs of their residents while creating a comfortable and safe environment for outdoor relaxation. 

To achieve this, they selected specific pieces from our extensive range, particularly from our Hazelmere and Bolney collections. These selections have now been introduced across all of their homes. A bespoke quotation and order form was created to streamline the ordering process and facilitate future transactions easily, providing a quick and easy means to submit orders and request quotations.

Hazelmere and Bolney collections perfect for year-round use 

The Hazelmere range, a favourite for Barchester, offers two elegant cushion options: grey with pistachio or natural with dusk. This collection is carefully crafted to enhance outdoor spaces year-round, complementing traditional and modern environments. The lightweight aluminium frames are powder-coated for protection and woven in a sophisticated basket-style pattern using a 4mm round-profile weave. Additionally, the cushions are made from fully waterproof fabric, ensuring long-lasting durability and weather resistance.

Another selection from Alexander Rose was our Bolney range, which was chosen for various terraces across Barchester’s portfolio. Made from high-quality dark Acacia wood, each piece is handpicked to showcase its distinctive marble-like grain, resulting in robust, durable outdoor furniture that is perfect for year-round use.

Competitive process resulted in our selection as a key supplier

In 2023, Barchester announced an ambitious expansion program to grow its already extensive portfolio of care homes throughout the UK. As part of this initiative, Alexander Rose was invited to participate in a showcase day to present our key pieces. This event marked the beginning of a competitive tender process, and after several rounds of discussions and a comprehensive procurement procedure, we were delighted to be selected as one of Barchester’s key suppliers.
