Bill‘s Restaurants sought a distinctive, bespoke piece of furniture that would align perfectly with their unique style, budget, and overall vision. Our experienced in-house design team was dedicated to transforming these ideas into reality, ensuring every detail met the brand's high standards.

Bespoke furniture design for Bill’s Restaurants

We are delighted to have recently collaborated with Bill‘s Restaurants, a UK-based dining chain embarking on an exciting expansion throughout 2025. Alexander Rose was thrilled to contribute from the beginning, playing a key role in bringing their vision to life with a bespoke chair design that was carefully tailored to meet their unique requirements.

A dedicated account manager was assigned to manage the project

Our partnership began with in-depth discussions between our dedicated account manager and the Bill‘s Restaurants team. These initial conversations allowed us to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs and objectives. From this point, our expert design team took over, developing initial layouts and 3D visualisations that offered multiple design options for consideration. We understand the importance of ensuring every aspect is precisely correct, so we provided mock-up samples for approval, allowing our client to visualise and approve the design before proceeding.

Design team produced CAD and 3D visualisations

Our design team provided various options throughout the process, including detailed sketches, designs, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings. These CAD drawings were an essential part of the design process, as they allowed us to explore multiple configurations and ensure that every design element met the client's exact specifications. The flexibility provided by CAD was invaluable in adjusting the design to meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of the project.

Choosing the materials

Once the design was finalised and agreed upon, we selected the materials best suited for the environment where the chairs would be placed. Our experienced team worked closely with the client to recommend the best choice of wood and seating materials, ensuring aesthetic harmony and durability in line with the client's operational needs.

A sample chair was then produced to allow the client to evaluate whether the design met their expectations and brand identity. This step was crucial to ensure the client was 100% satisfied with the chair's appearance, feel, and overall design.

Manufactured to a high-standard

The production of the chairs was completed at our factory in Vietnam. Our skilled craftsmen and women worked meticulously to bring the design to life during this period. Following production, the chairs were shipped to our UK warehouse, where they underwent a bespoke treatment process to ensure they were protected and well-suited to their intended environment. This custom treatment process ensured the chairs' longevity and resistance to the elements, providing the client with a durable, high-quality product.

Once the treatment had thoroughly dried and each chair had successfully passed through our rigorous quality control checks.

The bespoke chair is a testament to our commitment to excellence: it features high-quality teak wood complemented by a modern, comfortable Textilene seat pad. The result is a contemporary piece that enhances the dining experience and aligns with Bill‘s Restaurants' vision for expansion. 

Installation

Our installation team prides itself on its professionalism and efficiency. We understand the importance of delivering a safe, timely, and smooth installation process. To ensure the project runs as smoothly as possible, our team liaises closely with our commercial division to cover all the fine details and confirm that everything is in place for a successful installation.

Prior to installation, we ask our clients to complete a series of questions. This helps us plan and execute the installation process precisely, minimising disruption to the client's operations. On installation day, our team works diligently to ensure the chairs are installed seamlessly, meeting the space's aesthetic and functional needs and ensuring complete client satisfaction.

This project was a perfect example of the dedication, skill, and collaboration that Alexander Rose brings to every venture. From the early design stages to the final installation, our team worked closely with Bills Restaurants to deliver a product that met their expectations and exceeded them.
